Nicole Dostaler International Danis Bois Method Diploma Professional Training Description

My International DBM Diploma certifies that I have the expertise to work with individuals and with groups in Somatology, Fasciatherapy, Sensorial Training, Sensorial Reeducation, Body Awakening and Somato-Psychoeducation. After eleven years of full-time training in Quebec and in France, and six years working as assistant-instructor, the International Diploma was issued to me in 2002. I went through four exams, two of them including the presentation of a memoir to an international jury. My training included: Instruction in anatomy, physiology of movement and neurophysiology Instruction by medical specialists in pathology and immune system problems Instruction on cardio-vascular pulsology and neuro-endocrinian imbalance Instruction on head injury and after-shock recovery Instruction on proprioceptive gate-control activation and pain management Instruction on fertility problems, pregnancy and post-partum Instruction on trauma-related chronic depression and mental health problems Instruction in the therapeutic and philosophical aspects of the perception of movement Intensive training in manual techniques and therapeutic movement exercises I personnally studied with Danis Bois and his research team for five years I am also member of the Canadian DBM Professional Association, which allows me to issue receipts for insurance. Following periodical tests on practice and theory and an exam taken at the end of each level, the student is issued a: Level I certificate (Praticien de la Méthode Danis Bois de Premier Cycle) Level II certificate (Praticien de la Méthode Danis Bois de Deuxième Cycle) Level III diploma (Diplôme International Méthode Danis Bois) which gives the student access to the International Registry of Certified Fasciatherapists-Somatologists
